Harbour Master Number 3. Bantham. River Avon.
This must be one of the prettiest Harbour Master's offices in the country. Being a Saturday he was not at work but my kind friend Jamie Pritchard-Barrett acted as local pilot using his dory.
We moored Good Dog off the iconic art deco Burgh Island Hotel in very shallow, but well protected water! Jamie then lead me up the very well hidden River Avon to the beautiful office.
Being so early in the challenge, I had not got my act into gear about arranging to meet HMs at a time that suited them and not just me.
